Security: hashrate is 26.46 GSol/s, up 3.03× over five years and up 3.20× on the year. Block rewards pay miners about $1.72M a day; fees are 0.09% of that.
Against Bitcoin, ZEC changes hands at 0.01493 BTC — up 9.6% over 24 hours and up 112.8% over 30 days. In dollars the last close was $1,193 (+12.3%) on $1.72B of spot volume.
Transactions are up 19% week-over-week (~12,089/day); shielded transactions are 51% of activity. The shielded pool gained 27,589 ZEC this week, and 15,636 ZEC crossed from Orchard into Ironwood yesterday.
Derivatives: ZEC perpetual funding is 7.6% annualised against 8.3% for BTC, with $568.08M of open interest — 2.81% of market cap.
